Dear Sergio, What is the parent group in which your GL(5,3) and Sp(4,3) live? Without that information one cannot consider their intersection. Also, the 3-part of the order you stated is larger than the 3-part in the products of the orders of GL(5,3) and Sp(4,3), so I'm afraid I'm really confused.
