Dear Eamonn, nq-2.4 is dated January 12th 2012 and is included in GAP 4.6.2 distribution - please see an overview listing all versions of packages that were included here:
http://www.gap-system.org/Releases/4.6.2.html#gap4r6p2_2013_02_02-01_00 One path below has directory 'gap' while the other one - 'gap4r6', maybe that is a problem and gap4r6/pkg/nq-2.4 is not compiled?
