The obvious longer answer is to use a cloud-based solution such as
https://cocalc.com/
(formerly cloud.sagemath.com)
or
https://cloud.gap-system.org/
(which I have not tested nor do I know how to get an account).
These should work fine on an ipad. However, there is no functional
gap-system app for iOS devices that I know of. (E.g., the Sage app,
while still available in the app store, does not work AFAIK.)
