4) Make sure that all the files in /usr/local/lib/gap4r8 have proper permissions so that all the users can read them. You also need to make some directory writeable to all users. pkg/AtlasRep/datagens and pkg/AtlasRep/dataword if I remember correctlty. 5) Make sure external binaries used by some GAP packages are available.
