about non-standard behaviors, you're wrong

windows standard behavior:
if you have all files as filter (*.*), you can add anything as extension, even
an empty one, and the file will be saved with it
if you have e.g. txt filter (*.*), giving the name a.a will have the result of
saving the file as a.a.txt unless you write it between quotes "a.a", which will
save the file as a.a

pspad behavior:
well, pspad follows windows standard rules, probably cause it uses windows
standard open/save dialogs...
