Almost fantastic! It is true that the string highlighting appears correctly for the standard non configurable types in the beta version, and this is a help to me. Unfortunately it is still incorrect for the user types, I use pspad to write in a derivative of c, and have my own comprehensive syntax file. Anyway, the changes to C++ do help as I can flick between syntaxes when messing around with strings, so it is a good work around. Would be nice not to have to do this though.
Can we have an escape character option in the "user highlighter" dialog, think you've done most of the work on the way to achieving this. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,15115,29368> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
