First of all, many thanks for your prompt response! Now, onto the problems: pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. add association into proper highlighter. You want to open image in the HEX editor or in the Text editor ?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Highlighter, you say? Silly me, I could only think about registered *filetypes*, and this was what I didn't want to change. Now it works great, even for files without extensions. Thanks! (And no, I use only text editor.) pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. program settings / files / [x]Save file state -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This doesn't work.--On the other hand, I gave it a second look, more closely this time, and saw that this is the same old problem with ?> in PHP string (you know, quoted) _only_... So I don't see the need for remembering highlighters for each files separately any more, but, uhmm, *do* see need for fixing this plaguy ?> thing (yeah, I know you know ;-)) pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. I can add this feature, or you can use PSPad scripting capabilities and extend PSPad functionality with script -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe it would be good to have this feature built in, but since it has low pririty (at least for me), let me play with those scripts for a while ;-) Thanks again for your kind reply. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,30095,30115> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
