There are a few things I've noticed happening each time I use of the new betas. They're not showstoppers, but I'd like to know how to avoid them. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe they're real. B-]
1. Highlighters change settings (every time) Quite often, all my custom highlighter colors change and I have to reload them from my saved scheme. 2. Default font changes (sometimes) I use Bitstream Vera Sans Mono Bold (9pt) as my default font for all files. Quite often this gets changed to Bitstream Vera Sans Mono (not bold). Selecting the proper font from Format | Font... doesn't seem to make any difference. So, I usually change it in Settings | Program Settings | Direct Edit | Font. Usually, that fixes it, but I've yet to get it to "stick" with the current rev (2234). Which brings me to the final item... 3. Highlighting (and topic list) of "Direct Edit" This is mostly cosmetic, but often when I bring up Direct Edit for the first time with a new beta, the usual syntax highlighting is not in effect and the font is often wrong, etc. Sometimes, only a few or even none of the individual topics in the scrolling list to the left are visible. Usually, fiddling around with any of the highlighter settings will cause things to be right when I re-open the Direct Edit dialog. All in all, these are minor (with the possible exception of the default font), but if there's a way to avoid them I'd like to know. If they're legitimate bugs, I can repost this in the Bugs forum. BTW, the automatic switch to "Scroll past EOL" when in column mode is greatly appreciated! :-)) -- Len Philpot <>< [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://philpot.org <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,32719,32719> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
