I have now narrowed down the problem.
If I create a new file i PSPad, then theres no problem, the autoindent works
fine. But as soon as i load a file, autoindent is not working.
I have set everything according to previous threads about indent:
Settings >> Hightlight Settings >> HTML >> Extended indent chars { and }
Settings >> Hightlight Settings >> PHP >> Extended indent chars { and }
even XHTML has this setting.
Settings >> Program Settings >> Editor Behaviour >> Trim trailing spaces off
Settings >> Program Settings >> Editor Behaviour >> Auto Indent Mode on
Settings >> Program Settings >> Editor Settings >> Real Tabs on
Settings >> Program Settings >> Editor Settings >> Smart tabs off
Anything else that could influence this strange behaviour?
Note - if I create a php file with PSPad it works, but as soon as I load the
file again, or any other php file, it fails to work: no auto indent.
