Hi, First, I would like to say PSPad is the best text/hex editor I've used. Please keep up the great job!!!
I know that when I open a pure text file I can switch to hex editor to edit it. Is there any way I can force a binary file be opened in text editor? I am working some files with special format. They are text files but at the end of each line there is a non-printable character to indicate the identify of that line. PSPad thinks this file is a binary file and opens in hex mode. I tried everything but still cannot open those files in text mode. I need to modify the text in every line (but not the special characters at the end of line) and save them back to the files. So it is more convenient to edit them in text mode. Is there any way to do this? Thanks. Alnn -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,34806,34806> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
