Each Editor has own selection type. It isn't a bug. You can assign any shortcuts for Search in files you want. Program settings / KeyMap PSPad starts slowly, you are right. 4.3.3 was ANSI version, 4.5.0 is unicode version - wide string handling i slower in some cases. 4.5.0 adds scripting support, PSPad needs to initialize WSH during start. YOu can disable scripting support in Program settings / System. Do you use the 4.5.3 version ?
