Amendment to previous message ... I just found an older message talking about this subject. My point of the .DEF file was to have it format the Code Explorer and apparently that format is hardcoded. I love the Code Explorer feature, which is the reason I want to move away from jEdit. jEdit and the endless other editors I checked out have no such function, or it is poorly implemented.
