vista is ok, it does not give much troubles (i can say even less than xp in the same launch time) and is absolutely a huge advance over xp in almost every area, if you want to talk, you better try it before for a minimum amount of time and yes, theres a couple of troubles running pspad in vista, though only one can be considered "bad" in the usability area (text labels in interactive clips simply dont appear), the rest are design homogeneity issues (system menus vs delphi menus, mixed through all the program), and the super-weird problem with the live preview in task bar / alt+tab, were in pspad the preview wont appear if it is minimized tried to record a video with them but i cannot reach a adequate framerate (my pc is fairly "old" you know) -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,37018,37185> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
