sholle: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is not an IDE but an editor with some extensibility. Open the files you want to add and right click in the project window and add all open files. Pretty simple. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, I realize it's not an IDE, but it's pretty close to one. But never mind that. Thanks for your suggestion, it looked very promising, there is just one problem with it. It does not keep the directory structure. It adds all the open files to the same folder. Jeff: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But more to the point, a project "folder" is not really a folder, it's just a grouping mechanism provided by PSPad. It doesn't correspond to a folder in your filesystem and so there's no way to add files to a project "folder" outside of PSPad. -- jeff -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe I should have mentioned, I'm a web developer (PHP). To me a project folder exactly corresponds to the folder on disk, and since I used the option "Create project from directory", it seems quite obvious (to me at least) that the project folder and the folder on disk are the same thing. I'm not saying you should make project folder automatically refresh for everyone, if it annoys some people apparently. But it would really be nice if it was optional, or at least a manual refresh button would do. As it is now, the easiest way for me to add all new files to the project is to select "Create project from directory" again and overwrite the old project, which is pretty tedious. Another thing that really surprised me was, that even the files I create using PSPad are not added to the project automatically. Now, you can call me weird, but that's just very bizarre to me. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,31294,37432> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
