Hi, I think, there are really some automatic conversions (ie. encoding etc.), if the file is open as text. (was the edited file stil usable?) On the other hand, by opening directly in HEX from the context menu the original data should be shown. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The file is corrupted after the conversion. It was a PDF - a mix between text and (binary) streams. When using the HEX mode of PSPad everything works fine. I just have been curious about this kind of "bug" (which in fact isn't one at all, I guess).
