I am familiar with TextPad, and I have not been able
to find some things in the documentation that I would
like to do with pspad.

Any specific links to documentation is helpful, but if
this is also possible with script (i.e., WSH jscript)
please let me know about that also.

====
1. Detect when current buffer has been modified by external app
Give user choice on how to respond:
    a. Auto-reload without prompt
    b. Auto-ignore without prompt
    c. Prompt the user for what to do

2.open a link to a specific text file
(eg) click on c:\foobar.txt to open the file
(eg) click on c:\foobar.txt(37) to open to line 37
(eg) use c:\foobar.txt<Test123> to open to first occurance
        of Test123

3. Modify the currently-selected region of text an external program
(eg) run a rot13 converter on the currently selected text

4. cursor movement with arrow keys
make (ctrl+arrow keys) key behave the same way as TextPad
    (word boundary movement)
make (ctrl+shift+arrow keys) key behave the same way as
    TextPad (word/para select)

5. Change the default directory for "application settings" to
somewhere else

6. Turn off "auto-insert" of enclosing doublequote in
source code files

Thanks for help on these.
