pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I send in my previus aswer with screenshots, I am not able to simulate your problem, because FixedSys font on my comp has same width as in Notepad. If you send me instructuion, how to get different font size, I will be able to do something. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, thanks for your interest! Here is how to do it: Just switch the font (Format/Font) to Andale Mono (viz http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=34153&release_id=1053 55 ), or Lucida Console (should be present on any XP system). Then, I you open for example a Python file, with the default options, some keywords are in bold. In this case the character spacing is just too wide, even if you change the syntax highlighting settings to have no bold or italic characters. In PSPad 4.51 the font spacing is like this: http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/1424/screenshot19fn9.png in PSPad 4.53 like this: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8905/screenshot18dd8.png The first one just looks better :-)
