carbonize: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- btw if you didn't have a keyboard why would you have a text editor :-/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A text editor is not only for editing text files. It also makes a handy: - HTML source code viewer for my web browser. - ebook reader for text ebooks. - NFO/TXT reader for program documentation. - Reader to examine output from DOS commands or logs from DOS batch file processes. - Quick program to paste HTML formatted text into from web pages so I can then copy/paste back out again as unformatted text. - Program to paste clipboard output into so it can be saved to a file for processing by other programs. All these uses are perfectly valid ways of using a text editor that I use regularly. None of them require editing of text and none require a keyboard. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,29097,39607> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
