It seems that having multiple scripts installed (JScript, VBScript, XML) slows pspad quite a bit.
I just recently started using pspad and when I began I also downloaded all the interesting scripts I could find (~50), thinking it will not affect pspad in any kind. Maybe pspad compiles the scripts at every startup (just a guess). Maybe it would be possible to disable that by default, and only enable it when necessary (i.e. when new scripts are installed). That is just a guess, I know, maybe more experienced users have better solutions. Currently I renamed my scripts dir to scripts.bak and everything runs smoother. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,18059,41062> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
