Looking at the network activity lights it seems to me that whenever I try to create a new file PSPad makes a whole bunch of queries across the network before displaying the list box which asks what type of file I want to create.
Is this normal behaviour, or is there an option somewhere to create a new file much faster. On the same tack, is it possible to set a default type of file, and then to change the type of file when saving?
