Hello again, yes, this is the right way to use the Favorites / Tools TAB. I'm now able to use two tools (e.g. static code analysis and compiler) one the same C source file.
But... Unfortunately here I'm NOT able to run a LOG PARSER on the outputs and therefore I can't do a jump to the file and the line/column where an error (static analysis or compiler) occured. Using the compiler configuration in the "Highlighters Settings" I'm able to configure this parser. Sorry, but this looks a little bit inconsequent to me to offer calls to external tools, but not offering the LOG parser to all tools too. cite: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jan announced to improve this to use more then one compiler in future. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jan, do you participate in the develoment of PSPad? If you do so, when do you plan to integrate the second compiler feature into PSPad? My "requirement" would be to offer the LOG parsing to all external tools, even when they're called by the Favorite / Tools TAB on the right side. So, if PSPad will have this feature, in my view PSPad is the best free editor I know. Volker -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,41993,42024> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
