That works...that's one idea. I just haven't used the favorites panel for anything, and if I use it for web links I have to keep it open or keep closing it after use. I thought it would be simpler to use the menu option. Under help you can add links...
The web link: http://www.google.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official opens a different page than just: http://www.google.com Is there something special you can type in a web link, perhaps in front of the http that tells it which browser to use?
