Hi Guys, At first, i have to say that this one of the best Editor's which i have found for editing Cobol Source. You Guys have made a great job, really. I was very suprised that this Tool is for Free using. For all your efforts, a very big THANKS! :-)
Now i would ask for 1 or probably 2 Enhancemnts: 1. Own Cobol KeyWord: It would be very kind if the user can add one or two own KeyWords into the COBOL Highlighting filter. Problem is that I'm using special selfmade Method's into my Cobol Application, and i want to highlight them too. But if i am using a selfmade highlight filter, than its not possible to give the columns 1-7 and 8 different colors. I can only switch between regular COBOL filter or selfmade one, may it should be possible to active both at same time. 2. Column Marker Please take a look into this screenshot (viz http://www.imagesave.net/upload/383437cobol.JPG ) As you can see, i have added some Column marker in it with Paint. (Ruler, SoftEdge, however in cobol you call them column marker.) I know you can activate a SoftEdge, but for better Cobol programming it would be very kind if there more of them. At least 3. It's because for a better view. I know that you Guy's has assuredly a lot to do, and for sure it's more necessary to fix up Bug's first. So thats why, don't push your self too much. :) I'm a programmer too. If you need any kind of manpower, just tell me. You are welcome. (Cobo, Java, C++) If the above Points are implemented, than this Editor has everything that you need for Cobol Code Editing.
