No, your eyes were open alright. :-)) PSPad is not a rich text editor, it can only edit what is sometimes called "plain text" (text with no formatting instructions). In this respect, PSPad resembles the "notepad" application that comes with every normal windows installation.
In case you wonder what such a program is good for: It is meant for programmers and HTML designers mostly.
