It is easy to repeat what I am doing: 1) Open a local file 2) Connect to the FTP server 3) Edit the local file 4) Right-Click at the filename tab and issue a "Save to FTP" command. 5) and bingo ! at the top of the windows you'll see that you started to editing the file on the FTP server ! (PSPad - [ftpservername.xxx:/cgi-bin/xxx.xx]) 6) if you keep editing then the tilda (~) sign appears in the front of the file name in the file tab which is the case for files opened from the FTP server.
This started with 2296. Now I revert to 2295 :( Regards, Mahir pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mahira: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to report a bug... While working on a local file, after Save to FTP, the edited file on the edit window will become the file on the FTP server ! After editing anything the tilda (~) appears.. This is a strange behaviour because it was not an issue at previous releases. I revert back to 2295 immediately... Best regards, Mahir -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you save file to FTP, in the title PSPad show you FTP path (it's old behavior). But you still edit local file. If you press SAVE, PSPad will save your file to FTP too. Sorry, but I don't understand your "tilda". Where the tilda appears? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,43544,43588> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
