I sometimes get it to open the same file several times, but it's always when one of the files isn't using the full path - that might be the bug actually.
I can most frequently replicate this when I right click on a selected file name, e.g. <!--#include virtual='_blah.asp_'--> and select "open file appointed by selection". In this case the file would open as "blah.asp" and moving the cursor over the file's tab would just show "blah.asp" as the hint. When I *save* the file it then saves correctly as "c:\websites\blah.asp" or whatever and the hint changes to the full path. However before saving this file I can re-open it from say the project tree and another copy opens up, this one with the full path for it's hint. If I try this *after* saving then the existing file gets brought to the front and no second copy is opened.
