I know there have been many threads about linux support, but I want to get a few clear answers.
First, I want to know if you have ever heard of Lazarus, which aims to emulate the featureset of delphi through FreePascal. Changes would be minimal at most (maybe even none!), and you could release a build for every operating system supported by it (Everything. Linux, MacOSX, Windows, Solaris, *BSD, OS/2). Secondly, will you ever open up the source to this program? It is just about the best editor out there, and having the source open could allow it to be even better because it could be adopted in linux as well. SciTE is the only thing we really have in the *Nix world. If you have a good reason for keeping the source closed, then I would like to hear it, I assume it is a good one. Finally, I want to make it completely crystal clear that I by no means want to call out Jan Fiala. I highly respect him and his work. I just want to know. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,43988,43988> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
