pspad: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check if open file isn't R/O (you can unlock is for editation with the Lock toolbar button) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i have not used 'set read only' file function before. i just now checked by 'right mouse clicking' on 'file tab' and selected 'read only'. an indicator appeared on the 'file tab'. i 'right mouse clicked' on that 'file tab' again a selected 'read only' (unlocking file/tab), and the 'lock' indicator on the 'file tab' cleared. i have 3 files open, none are locked. i am not sure the 'right-mouse-click on 'file tab', select read-only' feature is what you mean by "lock toobar button". -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,44548,44552> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
