i think if it is too much work to do the multiple sessions opened (and switch between), maybe it is just enough with 3 modes of opening a session:
-close all the current files then open the session files -add the session files to the ones already opened -also, hankejh idea of opening a new pspad instance can be useful also (so switching sessions mean switching instaces) all the 3 should be not much difficult, and the mode could be configured in the options dialog or somewhere else --------------- as far as i see it, the sessions could be done in 2 ways: -through a generic sessions, each entry a session without identifier at all -through a named sessions, you can create a session "x" with the opened files on it the first one is a bit simpler and would need the option for the opening methods somewhere, but it is quick and direct (wanna save? -> yes -> done) the second one is a bit trickier (wanna save? -> yes -> type a name -> done) but it is easier to know which session is the right one, and also in the very same dialog to choose the session may appear the opening mode thus erasing the need for a global configuration option the sessions can appear as a submenu (i feel logical file/sessions) for easier access, though if they can be unlimited then in both ways it will be needed a way to erase/manage them what do you think? -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,44567,44596> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
