Dear Jan,
I think I noted a bug in TeX highlighting: if a formula, which is any expression
enclosed between dollar signs, starts at the beginning of a line, e.g.,
$2 + 2 = 4$
then the highlighter ignores the first dollar sign and highlights all text after
the second dollar sign as if it were part of the formula. This does not happen
if the formula is not at the beginning of the line, e.g.
anything here $2 + 2 = 4$
Could this be fixed? I cannot use new versions of PSPad because of this issue
(this issue was not present in v. 4.5.3 build 2265.
Here is a sample TeX document that illustrates the problem (_bold text_
shows the math mode highlighting as it appears in build 2303):
\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
If a formula appears on a line after
some text, _$2 + 2 = 4$_, highlighting is fine.
But a formula starting at the beginning of a line,
$2 + 2 = 4$, causes everything after the formula be
highlighted as in math mode.
\end{document}
Thank you!
Sasha
