MrSpock: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a test, please create a new PHP file. Then select View -> Choose syntax highlighter. If HTML Multi-highlighter is selected in the list that pops up, please go to Settings -> Program Settings -> Multi-highlighter and uncheck PHP in the list of file types that should be opened directly in the Multi-highlighter. Maybe we're on the wrong track here, but it is possible that the Multi-highlighter overrides your settings for PHP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your reply, MrSpock. After sending my above message, I found your reply. According to your advice I create a new PHP file. Then select View->Change Syntax(I don't find [Choose syntax highlighter]). PHP is selected in the list that pops up. Multi-highlighter doesn't exist in the list(perhaps because I check off HTML-multihighlighter in the Highlighters Settings). -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,45082,45111> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
