Hi, I am a new pspad user, and I am hooked on to it. Very good source editor.
However, i would like to point out a few things which can improve pspad. 1. The default keyboard shortcuts have Ctrl + Alt at many places (for example, convert to uppercase is Ctrl+Alt+U). This should be avoided since Ctrl+Alt is used as global keymapping by Windows to user defined shortcuts. For example, on my machine, I create a shortcut to My Computer and Internet Explorer on my desktop, and assign Ctrl+Alt+M and Ctrl+Alt+I to them respectively. Pressing these key combinations will open My computer or Internet explorer from anywhere. It is a general practice to avoid Ctrl+Alt in keyboard shortcut combinations since this combination is special for Windows. I know there are other programs that do the same, but that again is bad. I can change the shortcuts via program settings, but I use the portable compressed version of pspad. I keep removing and reinstalling the latest beta versions of pspad, so I keep most settings to default. Saving settings is not an option since new features are added to pspad which might have some new shortcuts. 2. File opening speed is a bit slow if there are multiple large files open (more than 10).
