hi @all I´ve been using PSPad for some years now. Meanwhile it´s one of my most important tools :-D IT REALY IS A GREAT PIECE OF SOFTWARE!
I have to deal with lots of intefaces, most of which use text files to transport data... I often have to search in that files using regex. With the simple "Search" dialog that works fine. So I wonder why there´s no option to search for regex in files using the "Search / Replace in Files..." dialog!? I´ve searched the forum for matching threads and found some (back till 2004) - always containing an answer that the feature is on the todo list...is that still the case, or not? If you have to search thousends of files for a special regex that would really save a lot of time...:-/ (btw.: I can´t imagine that programmers don´t need that, e.g. for searching the source files of complex projects for special expressions!?) regards Michael -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,45720,45720> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
