Hi, Thanks for your advice, but sadly it didn't work. I don't think the problem (if it is a problem, I think I just don't know how to do it :-/ ) is specific to python. I presume any interactive script must need a way to get input from the user. I'm surprised that no-one else has come up against this. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated as I don't want to have to go back to the old command line, I like PSPad a lot and I'm sure there must be a way to do this.
