There seems to be a problem with the latest beta releases of PsPad. When PsPad
starts up the toolbar size and position seems to be wrong; this is fixed by
clicking on the toolbar - once i click on it it returns to the normal size and
position.

This is how the toolbar looks when PsPad starts up:
