Hi everyone,
This is my first post here, but I've been using PSPad for quite a long time now,
mostly at work, when reading log files and small edits.
I've just installed PSPad in two machines at home. In one, it works the way I am
"used to" in Windows Explorer. For example, when right-clicking on a file, I can
see three options straight away:
PSPad
PSPad Hex
PSPad TextDiff
That is how I want it to be. However, on another machine, I get something like
this when right-clicking on a file:
PSPad >>
PSPad
PSPad Hex
PSPAd TextDiff
What I mean is that PSPad, Hex and TextDiff are inside a submenu for PSPad and
since I am not used for it to work that way, it is getting on my nerves :)
I believe that, perhaps, something is messed up with the registries. I wonder
what are my options in this case. What I've tried was:
- Remove and install PSPad and deleting the PSPad install folder;
- Running both scripts to register and unregister PSPad, found at C:\Program
Files\PSPad\
My system is running Windows XP Pro with SP2. If you need some screenshots, I
can provide that as well.
Kind regards,
X
