Hi, it seems, that phReplace doesn't currently support these literals in the replacement pattern. You can however use the newline directly, e.g. replace (without quotes): "(aaa)" >>> " $1 " (in the search pattern you can use direct newlines or " ") -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,34061,47586> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
