Similar problem on hungarian system. I write and save a text with accented chars in ANSI (Windows) codepage. Looks nice but when I close and reopen that file with pspad it changed to non accent version (ő->o, ű->u).
It is happen with special hungarian chars (ő and ű) although pspad works well with more "common" accent chars (áéíóöúü). If I open with notepad and change back to accent char pspad shows as "wrong" accent (
