Again and really last time. If you create new file, pspad looks for file ith name "default" and same extension as your new file and uses it as template.
You can modify template as you need. Maybe I delete all templates and al will be satisfied, because you will need to write your own. Of you can use New file dialog and choose template. I don't know, why HTML uses for for different formats same extension. It's request for other place then PSPad forum. If I create template with name identified by highlighter, it will be OK for HTML/XHTML, but bad for all other.
