I think this software is rock-stable and does not necessarily require updating much, even the latest beta which I've been using for months without any trouble now does what it needs to do so well, I'm a happy camper. I'm also still using XP x64 and will be for years to come. I don't like what other OSs have become and don't like the direction they're going in. Vista or Windows 7 will not be used very soon in my home.. (and yes, I've tried and tested both extensively).
Sure, some things can be changed in pspad, like the Tool Panel at the left which defaults to projects. I'd rather have that default optional. Set it to Sessions or Explorer. But I'll be patient. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,48557,48907> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
