ok. I now have PSPad unicode 4.5.4 (2346) English
installed. first comment: is it me or the search feat is plain much faster in this version? ;-) I think I do have have all .svn subdirectories excluded from the search. (i added ";.svn" to "Ignore Files") However, I have a couple of big 1 GBytes tar.gz files that I would like to exclude from the search as well (they take forever to scan of course). I have tried with adding ;*.gz in the same field with no luck. here's a screenshot. (viz http://g.imagehost.org/0902/temp.jpg ) Maybe I misunderstood something. In particular, the "Remember Last Directory" VS "Same as Active Document" VS "Designate Directory" is not very clear to me.
