Corrianna: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm having a funky problem with PSPad, ...
td style="background-color|: red" If I try to use Backspace to delete "color" and change it to "image", pressing the Backspace key 5 times (for each letter in "color") actually deletes letters beginning 4 characters to the right(and winds up deleting "r: re"), and I end up with this: td style="background-colo|d" ... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, it seems to be quite a strange behaviour; which PSPad version (and OS) are you using? I vaguely recall something a bit similar involving the combination of numbers and displayed whitespace characters, but it was several years ago. (My Czech bug report for this is: http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?6,27610,27661#msg-27661 The possible solution was Program settings :: Direct edit :: OldSpecialChars=1 the default is OldSpecialChars=0 But I guess, what you are experiencing is another issue. Does it happen with different highlighters or PHP, multihighlighter ... only? How does this work with plain text without highlighting? Also an active word-wrap or even displaying non-printing characters can cause some problems in certain circumstances. Does the source contain real tabs? Could you maybe try to narrow the symptoms of the bug a bit further? vbr -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,49447,49449> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
