When I am at home, no problem to connect. The FTP feature buit into PSPad is very nice and useful. I use it to edit files and save them directly to the server.
However, when I am in a public wifi hotspot, I cannot manage to make it work. This wifi hotspot uses a proxy. In settings, Internet tab, I have put the proxy information: "Use proxy server" Address Port Note: there is no need for a username or a password, this is a public wifi hotspot. This works well, when I open a file from Internet, it opens. In the properties of my FTP server, I have added information for server, user name and password. I checked "Use proxy server" and "passive mode". But I get this error: Can't connect LastError: 10060 Do you know if there is a work around for this? Does the public hotspot prevent me from using ftp and is this hopeless? -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,49669,49669> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
