When using the vertical splitting menu option of a tab, PSPad actually creates a 2-view version of the current tab file. But when we are in this display mode, there's no way to change the file viewed in the left or in the right splitted window.
What would be very handy is to be able, while having multiple tabs opened, to view in a simple way 2 of them in a 2-view splitted window. ... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not sure, if I understand the problem completely, but if there are multiple tabs open, using the context menu of the tab (other than active) will show the two subwindows arranged in the chosen direction. Is it what you are looking for?
