Can anyone help me with this problem? I have a text file and I have set eight bookmarks in the file and saved it.
For some very strange reason, bookmark 3 and bookmark 4 seem to keep being erased. It is highly erratic and unpredictable. Sometimes it happens after I save and then reload the file. But sometimes it happens when I move to another part of the file and then try to goto of of the two bookmarks only to find they have disappeared. I do not change the name of the file and I do not edit any other files that might contain the info regarding the names and locations of my bookmarks. The name of my file is "all.dpr". It is a Delphi source file, but I treat it as a text file. The one unusual thing about this file is that I have adjusted the "Highlighters Setting" to remove all colors. It just shows the file in "black and white". I must admit that I don't have a good understanding of "Highlighters Settings". I understand that certain kinds of source files can be made much better to read when certain kinds of statements are shown in different colors and bold or italics. But I can't seem to figure out the relationship between the current file and the current highlighter settings. I would love to be able to select a specific color for certain words or sentences. But that has nothing to do with language syntax. I would just like to be able to manually select certain parts of the file and set them to certain colors. So, I guess I'm asking for help with two issues. The first is the continual erasure of two or my bookmarks while all the others remain and have no problems. The second issue is how to set certain parts of a text file to specific colors. Can anyone help me with these two issues? Thanks very much. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,49990,49990> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
