I believe, the repeated clicking on the active tab is meant (if I understand correctly). In Opera it depends on the special setting. (Opera) Tools: Preferences:: Advanced: Tabs: Additional tab options: [x] Click on tab to minimize In windows main bar, clicking on the active app normally minimizes it (up to XP at least). In the text editor it probably isn't that usual, one simply clicks on the wanted tab to show the file, but the behaviour itself is not that uncommon. A possible use case would be multiple not-maximized windows within PSPad, where the relation of the tab to the text window is less clear.
