Even with syntax highlighting, I still sometimes miss something ... probably being color blind does not help, because even with the choice of colors I choose to use, some things that might stand out to others, I just don't notice.
I tried jslint but there is too much information! I just want to find basic syntax errors and it told me how to build a nuclear powered submarine (lol) ! I looked thru the jslint code to see if I could remove some of the errors and warnings but it was a little complicated for me, so I scraped it. One of the biggest problems I have is writing js that will work in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I use the Firebug extension in Firefox which is great for tracking down errors, but there was never an easy way in Internet Explorer, and of course just because it works in Firefox does not mean it will work in Internet Explorer!! I did just find out though that Firebug has released Firebug Lite for Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera if anybody is interested: http://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Lite Any other thoughts or suggestions beside jslint?
