I will try to give you more informations. In attachment, a screenshot of my Shared Folder configuration. My virtual machine is under Windows XP SP3 (with all patch from Microsoft) I have no antivirus and no firewall. All my hard drive are in NTFS but without any particular right. I simply edit any file from any folder on any shared folder. And if I try to save it with PSPad I have the previous error message. I have done some tests and it is particularly strange. It only happen on Shared Folder (see screenshot in attachment) If I create an empty file (from windows explorer), open it with PSPad, modify it and save it => it works But, if I open again the same file, complete it and try to save it => I have the error message: Error saving file : I:\test.txt I have the same behavior if a create a new file, modify it, save it one time and directly save it a second time. And, more strange, if I edit the file in hexadecimal mode in order to modify it, I can save it. I have try to map a network folder on my Shared Folder (in order to access it easily) but I have the same behavior. I hope it could help you. If you need more details, please let me know. I can also make a video if you want. Thanks. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?4,52874,52961> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
