I wonder why the highlighting method used for matching tags couldn't be extended to highlight every occurrence of a text selection as discussed in this thread:
http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,37745,page=2#msg-51207 I understand the processor load concerns, but I still would like to know how it performs on a modern processor -- I'm not convinced it is too heavy a process for an Intel Core i5/i7. And in any case, whatever the processor impact it may still be acceptable on newer machines. It could be optional, even hidden away in the Direct Edit Settings for testing -- "too heavy on the processor" is subjective and we should test different processors. Jan, is there any reason why this couldn't be tested? -- Damion Hankejh / LinkedIn / Ingk.com <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,53111,53119> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
