Hi, is there a trick or switch or parameter to tell PSPad to open new files next to the current one? I couldn't find any hint to this question.
This property would make my life much easier. I use to activate the tab of a file sitting in the right directory in order to open the file dialog right there. Next I pick my file, but the new tab will sit at the _very end_ of all tabs. Hence I have to move that tab to it's proper position, which would be next to the file I already activated to begin with. Also, within each "directory group" (e.g controllers, models, helpers ...), I will keep an alphabetical order, which means I can pick the file I want to work with just by it's proper position. In activating the right tab from several candidates, I could place the new tab right where it belongs without any intervention. A separate window with a list of all open files, sorted alphabetically as realized by other editors, would be nice but not nearly as useful as this simple property which several browsers do have (FireFox used to have it, but dropped it for some reason). Thanks a lot! -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,53349,53349> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
